FRANCESCA LEE · FOUNDER, SOCIALVALUEARCHITECT
LEGAL INSIGHT. BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE.
I help lawyers, boards and businesses connect the dots between law, governance and sustainability — and turn understanding into action.
Strategic perspective. Practical learning. Human impact.

Better business.
For people & planet.
Sustainability belongs in the decisions a business makes every day.
I’m Francesca Lee — a lawyer, sustainability strategist and governance adviser with more than 25 years’ experience helping organisations navigate risk and make better decisions.
My career spans FTSE 100, listed and multinational businesses in the UK and Asia-Pacific. That experience shapes how I teach and advise: start with the commercial reality, make the risks understandable, and give people a practical way forward.
I design and deliver programmes for the Law Society of England and Wales and the Law Society of Scotland, alongside tailored training for law firms, in-house teams and business leaders.
My charity trustee work brings another perspective: governance is ultimately about people, accountability and the consequences of decisions.
Different audiences. Different pressures.
The same focus on practical progress.
Help your lawyers understand the business behind the legal question, communicate with influence and give advice clients can act on.
Discuss your team’s prioritiesRealistic scenarios that connect legal analysis to business priorities, financial pressures and better client conversations.
Build the confidence to recognise sustainability risks and connect them to governance, legal advice and client needs.
A masterclass combining my legal and commercial insight with public-speaking coaching from John Deery, founder of The Public Speaking Course.
Connect sustainability and emerging risks to oversight, strategy and the way your organisation actually operates.
Discuss your board’s prioritiesClarify responsibilities, decision rights, committee structures and escalation, then build a phased approach to change.
Make risk meaningful for directors: connect it to business resilience, people, investment and strategic choices.
Explore the questions leaders should ask about ownership, oversight and the human consequences of technology.
Build understanding, identify the issues that matter and translate customer expectations into a practical plan your team can deliver.
Discuss your business prioritiesConnect sustainability priorities to governance, operations and commercial objectives, with clear responsibilities and next steps.
Develop practical understanding of ethical labour, modern slavery and environmental risks across procurement and supply chains.
Help corporate procurement teams move beyond questionnaires by supporting suppliers with tailored awareness and action workshops.
A good session should change the questions people ask and the decisions they make afterwards.
Your audience, sector and business priorities shape the content, language and format.
Case studies, scenarios and discussion make complex issues concrete and relevant.
Practical frameworks, tools and actions help turn new understanding into everyday capability.
